There are many reasons your computer might be slowing down. Some of these reasons can include computer viruses or just having too many files on your computer.

The internet can be a wonderful thing, but there can be downsides to it as well. It is very easy to pick up a virus while doing the most mundane surfing on the internet. If you think this is the case, you can run a virus check with any number of anti-virus software. Usually this software will also delete the virus from your computer. Once this happens, your computer should run faster.

Another thing that can make your computer run slow is having too many files on it. A computer has only a finite amount of memory in it, and the closer you come to filling that memory up the more likely you are to make your computer slow down. The best thing to do it delete things. You can move pictures and videos to CD’s and delete any programs you don’t use.

These are just a few things that can slow your computer down. If checking for viruses and cleaning out your files doesn’t work, there may be a more serious problem.
